E é dentro desse espírito de alegria e gratidão a Deus que as Casas Espíritas do Seridó, ligadas à CRES II, estão realizando atividades comemorativas a esse momento singular da história da Humandiade, que foi o lançamento do Livro dos Espíritos, em 18 de abril de 1857.
O Grupo Bezerra de Menezes, de Parelhas, realizou no dia 06 de abril um encontro de trabalhadores, com treinamento, e uma palestra pública alusiva à comemoração.
O Núcleo Espírita Seara de Luz realizará no dia 17 de abril uma palestra pública comemorativa, com sorteio de exemplares do Livro dos Espíritos entre os presentes e no dia 18 de abril um encontro de trabalhadores. Nos programas de TV (Momento Espírita) o Seara de Luz, durante todo o mês de abril, fará alusões ao sesquicentenário do Espiritismo e no dia 18 veiculará um programa especial sobre os 150 de espiritismo. Ainda dentro destas comemorações, será apresentado em Currais Novos, no dia 27 de abril, o espetáculo teatral da Cia do Caminho O Candido Chico Xavier.
A Sociedade Espírita Jesus de Nazaré, de Cerro Corá, realizará às 19h30min do dia 18 de abril uma palestra comemorativa na Câmara de Vereadores daquela cidade.
